Professional Development and Training
Through training and collaboration, The Network supports professionals in strengthening best practices and improving services for survivors statewide.
South Dakota Victim Assistance Academy (SDVAA)
The South Dakota Basic Victim Assistance Academy (SDVAA) is a 40-hour spring training program that teaches foundational advocacy skills and meets NACP credentialing requirements through NOVA. It’s designed for new victim-service advocates and is open to anyone working with crime victims.
